Advanced Pattern &
Mold, a division of Micro RIM, provides a comprehensive
integrated tool service. As a QS9000 facility, we are
dedicated to providing our customers with both great service and
superior tools. We produce injection molds for
both production work and OEM prototype work, from small
intricate parts to large fascias. Our machine shop also
provides mold maintenance for existing tools.

Starting in our CAD
Department, we can design your tool from either supplied data
or use our Tarus Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to generate
scanned data. We have both touch probe and laser scan
capabilities. Our CMM Department gives us the capacity to
meet all of our inspection, certification and validation
requirements in house. We also provide third party
inspection and certification. |

Cutter paths are
generated on the floor by the machine operators
using either Prospector software and direct from the Tarus CMM.
Cutter paths are downloaded directly
to our Tarus Mills. This saves time and minimizes the
possibility of an error.
Our experienced mold makers can
make your tool in either steel, kirksite or aluminum.
After the mold department completes their work, you will be
ready to run the tool in the appropriate press, either at Micro RIM or at
your facility in your press . |
